Good Evening Tornado Nation and Fans, just got home from the game between Keystone and your Bradford Tornadoes and what a big win it was for the Tornadoes as they Whirl Wind past the Indians 48 to 11 and push them to 3 and 0 in Class 4A District 3. This giving them a chance to sew up the whole district title in 2 weeks as the Tornadoes will host the Interlachen Rams in what will be for the outright district championship and a home state playoff game at David Hurse Stadium. The last time Bradford hosted a state playoff game was back in the 2004 season when the Madison County Cowboys rolled into town and dominated the Tornadoes that night and we have been looking ever since to become district champions. We now have that chance in 2 weeks and due to Hurricane Matthew our Homecoming and Senior Night will be in combination for that week and all the festivities that come with it but the team just needs to focus on what they have been doing for the last 2 games. This game started out with a bang as the Tornadoes won the toss and elected to receive.  Jeremiah Vaughn took the Kickoff back 98 yards for a TD and the Tornadoes set the tone for the rest of the night as the Tornadoes ran the ball at will against the undermanned Indians as our Offensive Line opened all holes all night for Carter, McBride, and James and when needed Zion Barber on QB keepers. The Tornadoes amassed over 300 yards on the Ground unofficially and Barber threw the ball at times when needed completing several in a row on a long sustain drive in the 3rd quarter to ice the game for Bradford. The Defense played very well limiting the Indians rushing attack of Blake Sanders and company to very little rush yards and only a couple of completed passes for the night for not alot of yardage. Special Teams were good on KO and Punt Returns as Vaughn not only taking the opening KO to the house but had several nice Punt returns to set up the Tornadoes in great field position. The Tornadoes have a bye next week and it could not have come at a better time. We need to get some players that were injured in this game back healthy and to nurse any minor injuries as well. Also for the next couple of weeks we need to keep working hard at practice and cleaning up and polish our game to include limiting the penalties and working on no turnovers. I am sure that Coach Green and his staff will keep our team focused and reminding them of their goal to win this District Title. We encourage you to come out to the game in a couple of weeks on October 28th and watch the Tornadoes officially lock up the Class 4A District 3 Title at David Hurse Stadium but if you can’t, you can catch all the Live Play by Play with Mr.Friday Night David Rodgers and Color Commentary with Big Kevin Howe and our Producers Chuck Kramer and Lyn Veliz Pregame Show @715 and Kickoff @ 730 on Eagle Ctountry 106.3.

Attached pictures: The WEAG 106.3 guys gearing up for the game outside the press box as the stadium announcer reminded them that they need to earn a spot inside.  They didn't mind as they had a great view of a great rivalry game and a victory.  The 2nd picture is of #7, Jeremiah "Bug", "3M" Vaughn with a 98 yard kickoff return for a touchdown.  This set the tone for the rest of the evening!
